Magene L508 Radar Tail Light, 140 m

A tail light tells drivers where you are. The L508 also tells you what is approaching from behind. Magene's L508 combines a rear light and radar in one unit. It detects approaching vehicles from up to 140 metres away and displays them on a compatible bike computer.

On the road or the tarmac sections of a gravel ride, the benefit is straightforward: you know when traffic is coming up behind you. The radar tracks up to eight vehicles and its 40-degree detection angle helps it pick up traffic through bends. It works with computers supporting ANT+ Radar, including the Magene C706 and C606 V2.

Choose the light to suit the ride. Use a steady beam, flashing mode or Peloton mode for group riding. Braking activates a brighter light for three seconds. A 220-degree viewing angle makes the light visible from the rear quarter too. Adjust settings through the Magene Utility app.

The Magene L508 also fits the Lupine UFO saddle bag. Turn the mount 90 degrees to attach the radar tail light to the back of the bag without an adapter.
