Compact electric pumps for cycling

After a puncture, it’s good to get moving again. CYCPLUS does the pumping for you and fits in a pocket or saddle bag. AS2 Ultra suits a lightweight setup, while Pro Max is an option when you have more pumping to do or use larger tyres.

Kuraläppä’s Bob tests electric pumps

Bob compared the Cycplus Ultra, Pro Max and a floor pump.

Commercial collaboration: Tonin Verkkokauppa

When inflating the gravel tyre in Bob’s test, the Pro Max was faster than the floor pump: 21 s versus 25 s.

Inflation times measured by Bob
Inflation Ultra Pro Max Floor pump
MTB 0–1.8 bar61 s30 s28 s
Gravel 0–1.5 bar41 s21 s25 s

Times measured by Bob using the tyres shown in the video. Results depend on the tyre and target pressure.

Bob would take the Ultra on rides and to races. If he chose just one pump, it would be the Ultra for its versatility.

Bob would choose the Pro Max for use at home before rides.
