If clean ski skins become wet, pick up dirt or start icing, add a skin-specific conditioner to your routine. Skin Care helps reduce those effects and the grabbing sensation they can cause. Apply it to the grip insert after cleaning.
This is the 60 ml dosing bottle. The current instructions for item 5091 call for dispensing the liquid onto a fibre cloth and wiping it onto the skin. It is a different application method from the spray bottle.
This is a conditioner, so it is not the choice for removing accumulated dirt. Applying more treatment to a dirty insert leaves that first job undone. The ski’s glide zones need their own cleaning and wax treatment, using products such as SISU Glide Cleaner and a liquid glide wax chosen for the snow.
Icing, drag and slipping are not always caused by the same problem. If cleaning and conditioning do not help, check the condition of the insert and the suitability of the ski. Skin Care cannot replace worn fibres or change the ski’s flex.
A clean fibre cloth is enough to apply this dosing-bottle version. You do not need a waxing iron, cork or brush for the basic method. Cleaner is needed when the skin is dirty; keep using a suitable product if one is already in your kit.
This treatment makes sense for skin-ski owners who want a clear routine with separate steps for skin care and glide-zone waxing.
