A clean cloth is what carries dirt away from the base or grip insert. Rex’s lint-free fibre cloth is made for ski cleaning and polishing. This standalone roll contains 30 metres, with a sheet size of 13 × 60 cm.

The same type of cloth can serve several care tasks, but a dirty piece should not move between them. Keep cloths containing sticky kick wax away from the glide zones and skin inserts.

Choose the liquid for the surface

• Glide zones: use SISU Glide Cleaner, wipe away dirt and follow its drying and brushing directions.
• Ski skins: use Skin Cleaner with a clean cloth. Use a fresh section or cloth for conditioning.
• Kick-wax removal: use a suitable Wax Remover and collect the loosened wax in the cloth.

Make each wipe count

1. Take the amount of cloth needed for the task.
2. Apply the chosen liquid as directed.
3. Wipe the intended area, moving to a clean section as dirt or wax builds up.
4. Continue with the required drying, conditioning or brushing step.

Fresh cloth removes loosened dirt. Continuing with a contaminated section can simply spread it back. This matters more than dispensing an unnecessarily large amount of cleaner.

What the cloth does not replace

A cloth is not a cleaning liquid on its own, and it does not replace the nylon-brushing stage of a liquid-wax routine. Keep following the treatment’s drying instructions even when the wiped surface looks clean.

The roll contains cloth only; cleaning liquids and waxes are separate. When working on a single pair of skis, use the amount appropriate to the job rather than consuming a full sheet for every wipe.
