Blue for freezing conditions, Violet for mild weather and light frost. This kit keeps glide maintenance straightforward for regular ski outings and training. You get both sponge bottles and the finishing brush; application requires no waxing iron.
Both Blue and Violet are included. Pick the bottle for the day's conditions; you do not need to layer the two waxes. Both liquid waxes are fluor-free.
On skating skis, treat the glide base. On classic and skin skis, wax only the tip and tail glide zones, keeping the grip zone and skin clear.
Glide-zone cleaner and a fibre cloth are needed for cleaning and are not included. Use suitable supplies you already own or add them separately. The applicators are on the bottles. This method needs no iron, scraper, cork or rotary brush.
The skis feel sticky: check cleaning, drying and brushing first. Clean a dirty base before rewaxing. If the weather has warmed beyond Blue's range, switch to Violet; another coat of Blue will not extend its temperature range.
Classic skis slip or skins ice up: address the grip or skin separately. Do not put glide wax on the grip zone. For cleaning and caring for skins as well, see the complete skin ski care kit.
For separate wax choices aimed at fresh and strongly abrasive snow, consider the G Series all-weather wax set. This two-wax kit keeps the everyday routine simpler.
