Rex Domestique Drip Wax represents the new generation, bringing the properties of hot wax to a form that can be applied from a bottle without compromise. The product is developed from the same white wax blocks that made Rex's Black Diamond famous in international tests. The composition of Domestique is pure and technically precisely optimized. The additive content is lighter than that of premium-level $RexBlackMagik\; liquid\; wax$, but the wax base is still of the same high quality.

Domestique forms a completely dry and hard wax layer on the chain surface. It does not leave an oily surface and does not collect dirt on the sprockets or sprockets. After application, the chain stiffens up like when treated with hot wax. During running-in, the excess wax is shed and the moving parts of the chain are placed in a low-friction state. The end result is a long-lasting and very clean lubricating surface that maintains its performance even on gravel and in wet conditions.

Domestique is based on an emulsion technology developed by researchers at Rex and the University of Helsinki. The wax is broken down into micro-droplets and the water acts only as a carrier. When the water evaporates, the wax droplets return to their solid form and form a uniform, wear-resistant structure on the chain. This distinguishes Domestique from traditional liquid waxes, which often remain soft or collect dirt.

The product works both as a stand-alone lubrication solution and as a complement to hot wax. When the chain has been previously treated with Black Diamond hot wax, a light wipe of the surface is sufficient before application. The application itself is just as straightforward. Clean chain, careful application and overnight drying. The result is a frictionless and durable wax surface that does not require constant maintenance.
