Lupine UFO + Radar Tail Light - CYCPLUS L7 or Magene L508

A saddle bag and a rear radar often need the same space on your seatpost. The Lupine UFO solves this with a mount on the back of the bag: your kit goes inside and the radar gets its own place behind it.

This bundle includes a Lupine UFO 0.8 L saddle bag and your choice of radar tail light. Both radars fit the bag without a separate adapter.

Choose your radar

• CYCPLUS L7 + UFO: €149. Bought separately: €99 + €59 = €158.
• Magene L508 + UFO: €159. Bought separately: €109 + €59 = €168.

Either bundle saves you €9 compared with buying the products separately.

The CYCPLUS L7 combines a rear light and radar in a 67 g unit. The manufacturer specifies a detection range of up to 160 metres and up to 22 hours of battery life in bright flashing mode.

The Magene L508 tracks up to eight vehicles approaching from behind. The manufacturer specifies a detection range of up to 140 metres. When you brake, the rear light brightens for three seconds.

A bag with room for your radar

The UFO's 0.8 L capacity holds essentials such as a spare inner tube, tyre levers and a multi-tool. The zips run smoothly and Lupine's own tensioning dial secures the bag firmly in place. Adjusting the bag's position also lets you set the angle of the radar and light.

The CYCPLUS L7 fits directly onto the bag's mount. For the Magene L508, rotate the mount by 90 degrees. The bag's material protects your kit from splashes and dirt.

To receive radar alerts, you need a bike computer with ANT+ Radar support. If you're unsure whether yours is compatible, ask me and we'll check.
