The new Garbaruk GEN2.0 MTB 10-52 cassette is a 12-speed rear cassette for SRAM Eagle Transmission drivetrains and is designed for the XD freewheel . The cassette is manufactured in Europe in Garbaruk's own production, where design, machining and finishing are all done under one roof. This is reflected in the level of finish and how well the drivetrain performs even under heavy use.

The cassette is suitable for the rider who wants a lighter overall package from the Eagle Transmission system, as well as a clear driving feel. It serves the competitor, the enthusiast who rides a lot, as well as the e-bike user, where the load is constantly high and the shifting must work without compromise.

The cassette is machined from a single billet of hardened chromoly steel, and the largest, silver-colored 52-tooth sprocket is made from 7075-T6 aluminum. This creates a combination where the 11 smaller sprockets can withstand long-term heavy use and the largest sprocket saves weight where it matters most. The total weight is about 340 grams , despite the full 520 percent gear ratio.

In the GEN2.0 generation, Garbaruk has updated the sprocket tooth profiles and gear grooves specifically for the Eagle Transmission system. Shifting remains precise even when riding at high power and the chain stays well on the sprockets even when pedaling backwards. At the same time, the structure is less sensitive to small adjustment deviations than before, which is reflected in more reliable and controlled shifting in various conditions.

Micro-bevels added to the tooth profiles reduce friction and drivetrain noise. Larger open spaces between the sprockets help mud and dirt to drain quickly, improving chain control in wet and challenging conditions. Thanks to its durability, the cassette is also approved for e-bike use.
