The Garbaruk GEN2.0 Gravel 10-48T cassette is a 12-speed cassette designed for SRAM XD and XDR freehubs. It is built for gravel and allroad riding where a wider climbing gear is needed, while still retaining the 10-tooth small sprocket for high-speed sections.

The cassette is manufactured in Europe at Garbaruk’s own facility, where design, CNC machining and finishing are handled in-house. This shows in the overall machining quality and in the way the drivetrain performs consistently under load and in changing conditions.

It is intended for riders who want a lighter and more refined drivetrain feel without moving to a full MTB setup. The gearing makes it suitable for steep gravel climbs and long-distance riding, while maintaining tight steps in the smaller cogs for efficient riding on faster terrain. It is equally suitable for racing, high-volume training and e-bike use, where drivetrain loads remain consistently high.

The cassette is machined from a single block of hardened steel, forming the 11 smaller sprockets as one rigid structure. The largest 48-tooth sprocket is made from aluminum to reduce weight where it matters most. This combination delivers durability in the smaller cogs and meaningful weight savings at the top of the range. Total weight is approximately 330 grams.

In the GEN2.0 generation, Garbaruk has updated the tooth profiles and shift ramps to improve shifting precision in modern 12-speed drivetrains. Shifts remain controlled under power, and the chain stays stable on the sprockets even when backpedaling. The construction is also less sensitive to minor setup deviations, resulting in more predictable and consistent shifting performance.

Refined tooth shaping reduces drivetrain noise and improves chain engagement. The more open spacing between sprockets helps shed mud and debris efficiently, improving chain tracking in wet and demanding conditions. The cassette is approved for e-bike use.

The cassette is designed to be used with SRAM Flattop 12-speed chains, ensuring proper engagement and optimal drivetrain function.
