The touchscreen responds quickly. Zooming, moving the map and browsing pages work with the same logic as on a phone. The Ready to Ride view shows all the essential things at once before setting off: battery, connected sensors, training or planned route.

The device supports a wide range of third-party services. Strava segments are automatically updated on the screen. Routes can be transferred directly from Strava, Komoot, Ride with GPS, Google Maps and Apple Maps. Workouts can be imported from over 100 services via the new Structured Workouts interface.

The compatibility is very broad. ROAM 3 works with all Bluetooth and ANT+ power meters, heart rate monitors, cadence and speed sensors, and radar systems. In addition, the device can control Spotify and Apple Music playback, lights, and GoPro cameras .

ROAM 3 offers up to 25 hours of battery life and 64GB of storage . The large memory allows for comprehensive maps and long training histories without having to delete anything.
