For a simple liquid-wax routine, a small nylon brush is a sensible first finishing tool. Use it to brush the glide zones once the wax has dried. Its 54 × 86 mm size keeps the kit compact.
This is the finishing stage used with waxes such as Original liquid glide wax and G Series. Applying the liquid is only part of the job.
This model is the compact nylon option. The larger nylon brush provides an alternative body size for hand finishing. A larger brush does not by itself promise faster skis.
A horsehair brush has a different role: it clears the base structure after scraping hot wax, before the nylon finish. It is not a direct replacement for the last brushing step.
Do not brush liquid wax while it is still wet. Allow the stated drying time first. Keep sticky grip-wax contamination away from the finishing brush.
If you already own a suitable clean nylon brush, you do not need a second one just for this routine. A rotary brush and power tool are unnecessary for basic liquid-wax finishing.
Supplied as one brush. The official photograph shows the body and bristle sides of the same model.
