G21 for low-humidity frost, G21G for new snow, G11 for mild weather and G41 UHW for abrasive snow or severe cold. This set suits regular skiers who want to match the wax to the snow as well as the temperature. All four sponge bottles are included; choose the one for the day's conditions.
Four waxes with distinct roles

These are fluor-free G Series liquid glide waxes with sponge applicators. G41's broad range does not make it the default for every snow type. At −5 °C on fresh snow, G21G is the more specific choice. On coarse slush, the very hard G41 is a useful option.
Choose one wax, then finish it properly
- Clean the glide zones with glide-zone cleaner and a fibre cloth. Let the surface dry according to the cleaner's instructions.
- Choose one bottle for the snow and temperature. The four waxes are alternatives, not four successive layers.
- Shake the bottle and apply an even coat using the sponge.
- Allow at least 20 minutes to dry.
- Brush to a shine with a clean nylon brush.
Wax bottles included; maintenance tools separate
You also need a nylon brush, glide-zone cleaner and fibre cloth. These are not included. Suitable tools you already own are fine. This application needs no iron, scraper, cork or rotary brush.
When the snow or ski feel changes
Glide has deteriorated: first check cleanliness, drying and brushing. Then reassess the snow. Fresh snowfall can change the right wax choice even when the thermometer reads the same. Clean a dirty base before applying fresh wax.
Classic skis slip or skins ice up: glide wax does not solve grip or skin-care problems. On classic and skin skis, treat only the tip and tail glide zones and keep wax clear of the grip zone and skin. On skating skis, treat the glide base.
