The Lupine 6.9 Ah SmartCore spare battery (7.2 V, 50 Wh) is a high capacity and reliable power source for Lupine lights that use an external battery, where long runtime and dependable performance matter most. This is the same battery model supplied as standard with several Lupine Betty and Wilma headlamp systems and is designed for demanding, long duration use.

The 50 Wh capacity delivers significantly extended runtime, especially when using higher output modes. This makes the battery a natural choice for long rides, night sessions and situations where changing the battery during use is not desirable. The 7.2 volt nominal voltage and high quality cells support consistent power delivery across the entire discharge range.

SmartCore technology provides clear and reliable battery status feedback. Charge level is displayed via five LEDs in 10 percent steps and can be checked with a single button press. An audible beep supports the visual display, allowing the charge level to be checked even when the battery is not visible. The LEDs can also be used as a rear light, adding visibility during transfers or city riding.

The battery is built for harsh conditions. The IP68 rating protects against dust and water, while the IK09 impact resistance ensures durability against knocks and vibration on trails, gravel and in winter use. In the event of a fault, the battery automatically shuts down to protect both the battery and the connected light.

Mounting is handled via a loop on the back of the battery using Velcro straps. The package includes one long and one short strap, allowing flexible attachment to a helmet, bike frame, belt or backpack depending on the setup. This makes the battery highly adaptable across different sports and configurations.

Technically, this is a 6.9 Ah lithium ion battery with dimensions of 80 x 55 x 45 mm and a weight of 240 g. LG cells and a 3C maximum discharge rate support high output modes and stable performance under heavy load.
