Rex Hot Waxing Bundle | For Skiers Who Own an Iron

Already have a waxing iron? Add the core tools in one kit. Get Original Blue cold-weather glide wax, scrapers for the base and groove, and two brushes for different finishing stages. A practical set for routine maintenance and training skis.

Five products included

• 1 × Original Blue solid glide wax, −1 to −10 °C.
• 1 × 3 mm acrylic scraper for excess wax.
• 1 × groove scraper.
• 1 × horsehair brush to clear the base structure.
• 1 × semi-hard nylon brush for finishing.

Hot waxing step by step

1. Clean the glide zones and let them dry.
2. Melt and spread Original Blue with an iron. Rex’s base-preparation instructions specify 140 °C for this wax.
3. Remove excess wax while partly warm using the acrylic and groove scrapers.
4. Let the base cool. Clear the structure with horsehair and finish with nylon.

On classic and skin skis, wax only the glide zones. This kit suits maintenance of already base-prepared skis.

You also need a waxing iron, glide-zone cleaner and fibre cloth, which are not included. The acrylic scraper’s printed design may vary.
