Build the grip you need for winter ski outings. Rex Original hard grip waxes offer three straightforward choices for cold conditions. Thin, individually corked layers let you adjust the grip to your skis and the day’s snow.
Choose your cold-weather grip

| Blue | −2 to −8 °C | The everyday choice for sub-zero conditions. |
| Blue Special | −1 to −4 °C | Softer grip for light frost and hard, worn tracks. |
| Universal Tar | −1 to −25 °C | Tar-based grip wax for a broad cold-weather range. |
Wax without an iron
- Clean and dry the measured grip zone, lightly roughen and remove dust.
- Use Base Wax underneath when extra wear resistance is needed.
- Apply typically 3–6 thin layers, smoothing each with a synthetic cork. Adjust the amount to your skis and conditions.
- Test and add one thin layer at a time if needed.
