Choose NFX Blue for all-round frost, Pink UHW for old or abrasive snow, or Black New Snow for fresh snow. This kit combines one race wax matched to the conditions, Gold Liquid topcoat and a nylon brush for finishing NFX. It suits racing or focused training when you want to apply both layers by hand without a waxing iron.
| NFX choice | Conditions | SKU |
|---|---|---|
| Blue, 60 ml | −2 to −12 °C; all snow types. | 4736 |
| Pink UHW, 60 ml | +5 to −20 °C; old, coarse and artificial snow. | 4735 |
| Black New Snow, 60 ml | +5 to −10 °C; new snow. | 4737 |
You receive one NFX bottle, not all three. Pink's wide temperature range does not make it the right choice for fresh snow. Gold finishes the preparation across different conditions; Rex highlights damp and wet mixed or sub-zero snow at 0 to −7 °C as its focus. This is not a strict limit for Gold. NFX and Gold are fluor-free.
Gold needs a fibre cloth for spreading; the cloth is not included. Use a suitable clean, lint-free cloth you already own or add a Rex fibre cloth. You also need glide-zone cleaner and a cloth for cleaning; cleaner is not included either. Keep a fresh, clean piece of cloth for Gold, separate from the part used to remove dirt.
This method requires no iron, scraper, cork, separate additive powders or rotary brush. NFX also works on its own; Gold is the additional finishing layer.
Glide feels wrong: check the NFX snow choice, cleanliness and drying first. More Gold will not correct an unsuitable underlying wax. The supplied brush belongs to the NFX stage; do not return to brushing after Gold.
Classic skis slip or skins ice up: deal with the grip zone or skin separately. NFX and Gold belong on the glide zones, never the grip zone or skin. The kit cannot repair base damage or correct unsuitable ski stiffness. If you mainly need training waxes for varied conditions, consider the G Series all-weather set.
